3pm: hair cut appt

in btws: collect mooncakes and altered clothes from tailor, deliver cake to gram's place, buy car cover, wash car, change car's dvd player (doubt i have time since workshop closes at 5pm) and start packing!!!

everything abt this post onwards starts with 'C'

C:cheesecake tried a new recipe from mac woo's book. called summer berries tiramisu cheesecake. (since i had all 3 berries but my raspberry grew mould!!! gross!!so wasted..n minus the kirsh.. think it's some alcohol for the tiramisu part?) it's cheese with berries in btw 2 layers of vanilla sponge cakes. and for those who have cheese phobia, this one uses the least cheese (half a bar only) hence isn't cheesy at all! :)erm turned out quite ok, gotta improve on my sponge cake part though. didn't bake the cheese part,it was refrigerated hence can't bring for u guys to sample.. needs to be wolfed down asap!

C:cancer somehow i feel like everything's abt cancer now, in the papers, in the news, friend and family mbrs...hmm..dong fang billy's cancer has resurfaced and he's preparing for his funeral, right down to hosting his funeral through dvd.1 in 4 will get cancer. don't know if this has indirectly fueled my interest in this area. and cancer lectures (except today's indian lecturer's) have all been really interesting! i see a glimmer of hope after spending soon to be 4 years + 3 years in the life sciences track.

C:cat (or rather kitten) mini version of einstein with veeerrry long tail has been spotted in my garden! apparently leaves at the construction site right beside my house. quite timid, comes over meow for food but scared of us. currently feeding it only. mum says she'll throw me out if i take in one more.. hah.. prob to make space for the one more??heh.. it's okay i'm not tempted, since i've already "collected" enough tabbys. (according to the gigantic cat book u guys got for me, slowly marking out the ones i've got and the ones i wanna get.. hur..right..)tobby's mad, he's the fattest of the lot yet he's scared of the kitten don't even dare venture near the window to facing the garden. so cowardy, hides cos of the kitten which is outside.. haha..and hisses non stop when we carry him to the window, even at molly who sits by the window..hahaha..crazy..own sista also can't recog..pea brain really.. he reminds me of the cartoon network figure..can't rem name now, the hunky guy with blond hair, got brauns but no brains.. so tobby-ish..

C: car and Ccube yay thanks for helping me to source out some good deals for my dvd player. i was about to accept the fate of my in house brand aka no brand dvd player till you told me the good news.. heh.. shall save up for that!! :]
