i was out of my mind to agree to meet mum at raffles city. she asked me to drive but i felt sick of driving cos of yesterday. so i told her to park her car at office then she take train while i take a direct bus to city hall. smart thinking i thought. not so. as expected road blocks. and suay suay kanna. had to walk 2 bus stops in the wrong footwear. fine. blisters now. nvm. the jostle to get on the bus was horrendous. i was thinking, pls don't touch me! and omgosh, gotta sanitize left hand. i swear 98% of the people on bus 100 were non singaporeans. it's like foreign worker out in full force. through my ipod, i can still hear the "rRRrRrr bahlabunglarrraruaoorrr (tamil or watever)" in the background. thank goodness the smell of the usual cigarettes and cheap beer was at bay, maybe too early for that yet. i really can't stand bus 65 too. it reeeeks of bad body odour, sweat,thai beer, cigarettes, not-properly-dried-clothes, whatever that is unpleasant. btw it passes by lil india/sgoon area too.
and so i thought okay sacrifice a bit to get joe's urn (robinsons 20% storewide) and maybe my hp since this the only time mum has. right~joe's urn unavailable at raffles city (i saw it at centerpt though) and my hp shop was closed. the dress she wanted to get at EQ:IQ didn't get my stamp of approval too. too tacky. so we only got some household stuff and that's all. then, we joined the mad crowd to get into city hall mrt. OMGOSH.. i almost died from lack of oxygen. i felt so sick, so germy.. so many police marshals around trying to regulate the flow. haiz.. what an absolute waste of time. could have done something on my list instead of going out. i tink public holidays should be celebrated by staying indoors for singaporeans and let the foreigners out. well, at least i tried o-chacha cafe today! they sell all things green tea.
then another suay news. my PI called to say can't install side mirror indicators, which he agreed and wrote down in black and white for me that it'll come with the fit g model though it doesn't usually. only the gf model has (top up 2k comes with privacy glass, retractable mirrors, side mirror indicator and adjustable seat height which i think is all redundant except for my indicators). and that's like the only freebie i asked for, besides the standard leather seats and sports rims. i don't even want the solar film cos mum wants to get proper 3m ones or at least good quality ones. so i told him he didn't fulfill his promise to me, and i'm very disappointed.(emotional blackmail?) becos i wanted at least side mirror indicators, or smart key and control panel on steering wheel (both don't come with fit), or gps. i didn't even ask for the usual freebie that's offered by other PIs like touch screen dvd and reverse camera. all i want most importantly is my side mirror indicators and gps. since gps was out of question he promised to give me the former. hai..so i tried to be firm and told him, it's either you give me gf model so i get my indicators or you replace it with touch screen dvd and reverse camera. hmmm.. he said he'll get back to me. btw, he also said there won't be any rebate when the coe drops, neither will there be any top ups. is this the norm?
oh yeah, don't know if i should go on and bore you with my unlucky day yesterday. but just one thing. i should have used my brains to think, friday noon= mosque = damn very high chance of being fined. as you know i don't need to say the obvious. hehe. and stupide me totally forgot to put parking ticket when i went to ta bao pizza. i guess this is the most expensive pizza i've had. such a bummer :(
